To warm up the burritos , place them in hot coals next to a fire. Let them cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until heated through. The time will depend on how hot your fire and coals are. The burritos can be chilled for a couple of days.

Preventing soggy burritos Make sure that the filling is room temperature before rolling the burritos . Roll them tightly to keep out moisture. Wrap them in plastic wrap and then a sheet of aluminum foil. Reheat them in the oven or in a toaster oven in order to get a crisper tortilla.

All you have to do is pre-crack your eggs into a mason jar, Nalgene, or even a heavy duty zip-loc bag and bring them with you . Just make sure you insert the jar into a wine cooler before you pack it into your bag. If it’s in a zip-loc, you can always freeze it as well!
Once you’ve assembled and wrapped your burritos in either plastic wrap or aluminum foil, lay them on a sheet pan to flash freeze in your freezer. Once they’re fully frozen, place them in a tightly sealed bag for long term storage. You can store these up to 3 months in the freezer.
Wrap aluminum foil tightly around each burrito , covering it completely. Place in resealable plastic bags in a single layer. Remove as much air as possible from the bags before sealing. Store in the freezer until ready to reheat .

And then the other side. With both ends folded, tightly roll your tortilla until you have a perfect, beautiful burrito .

You will need to keep the moisture as high as you can, you can do this by brushing the burritos with a little bit of oil or a salsa before your put them on the oven, even if this is not a typical way of eating burritos , at least not in Mexico, but it can work!.
Heat it up and then wrap it in tinfoil or aluminum foil. The tinfoil will keep the heat inside and keep outside forces from getting inside. Your burrito will stay hot for a long time.
Cooked food sitting at room temperature is in what the USDA calls the “Danger Zone,” which is between 40°F and 140°F. In this range of temperatures, bacteria grows rapidly and the food can become unsafe to eat , so it should only be left out no more than two hours !
Well, prepared food has been exposed to more bacteria, has been handled, breathed on and left out without proper refrigeration longer. I would say with confidence that a burrito can hold up to 3 days in the fridge. It may go longer, it may be less. Always smell leftovers before you eat them.
Can I eat a quesadilla that was left out for one day. No. If it was room temperature all day then nah.
