Choose a pan : 9″ x 13″ baking pan , 20 pull-apart rolls; 8″ baking pan , 9 pull-apart rolls; muffin tin, 2 rolls per cup. Speed method* (11/2 hours, gas ovens slightly longer)2. Spray pan with cooking spray. Place frozen rolls in pan .
Boil 1 or 2 quarts of water in a shallow pan and place pan of water on lower rack of oven. 2. Place rolls on upper rack in oven. Let dough rise about 1 hour, until double in size.
Wet a few paper towels and then wring out so that they’re damp, but not soaked. Cover the rolls with the paper towel, making sure that the tops are completely covered. Microwave for a minute at a time, checking after each minute to ensure that the rolls are defrosting , not cooking.
Take the rolls out in the evening when you arrive home. Once double in size, bake your rolls while dinner is cooking. The Refrigerator Thaw Method Spray your pan with cooking spray. Place frozen dough on your pan. Place your pan in the refrigerator overnight or all day long.

Proof Dough in the Slow Cooker Fill the slow cooker half full with water. Set on low temperature. Put the slow cooker lid on upside down. Place a folded towel on the lid. Put the dough in a greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Place the bowl on the towel covered lid. As the heat radiates, the dough will rise .
Fast Food. The quickest way to thaw frozen bread dough is in the microwave. Spray a microwave-safe plate with nonstick cooking spray and place the dough directly on the plate. Microwave on the defrost setting, uncovered for three to five minutes.
The first step to baking with Rhodes is buying the product. Did you know that yeast can deactivate, which will stop your bread and rolls from rising ? Yeast can also be damaged when it is allowed to thaw and refreeze.
Place frozen dough in your refrigerator 6 to 12 hours before using. Dough will not rise, but will be thawed and ready to use. Set dough out to rise for 2 to 3 hours, until dough is 1” above pan. Actual time depends on the temperature of your kitchen.

Take the foil-wrapped rolls out of the freezer bag and loosen the foil. Heat the oven to 300°F. Place the loosely-wrapped package of rolls directly on an oven rack and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the rolls are piping hot to the touch and warm all the way through.
HOW DO YOU REHEAT DINNER ROLLS ? OVEN: Wrap dinner rolls in foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F until warmed through, about 10 to 15 minutes. MICROWAVE: Wrap dinner rolls in moistened paper towels and place on a microwave-safe plate. Warm on low power for 10-20 seconds.
The alcohols released by yeast give bread its rich, earthy flavor, but if the dough rises too long , that flavor becomes pronounced. The bread has a heavy yeasty taste or smell and in some cases, can even taste sour.

Don’t Thaw Bread on the Counter—Heat It Remove the number of slices you need from the freezer and microwave them on high power until softened, 15 to 25 seconds. ” If you’d rather skip the microwave, you can also bake slices on a rimmed baking sheet at 325°F for about 5 minutes.
