Sprinkle baking soda inside the lunch bag and stuff with crumpled newspaper to absorb the moisture and smell . Close the bag and after 1 or 2 days, remove and discard the newspaper and baking soda. Wipe the inside of the lunch bag with a clean, damp towel and allow to air dry.
For WASHING THE LUNCHBOX , I opened it up and put it on my top shelf of the dishwasher and washed it normal, it came out great! Just let it air dry. I did wash the inside corners a little better with a scrub brush. I do hand wash frequently, but the DISHWASHER was a great place to wash it!
If you find the lunchbag has a smell , sprinkle baking soda into the bag (into corners and seams) and sit overnight. Shake the baking soda out in the morning and wiped over with a damp cloth.
