I can go to just about any restaurant in the city in jeans EXCEPT Canlis . It’s “dressy”, that’s part of the atmosphere and ambience, since 1950. Contact Canlis , explain your situation. On the other hand, if you truly don’t want to bring or have the space for dress -up clothing – don’t.
Situated in the Queen Anne neighborhood, the restaurant has views of Gas Works Park and the Cascade Mountains. It was built by Peter Canlis in 1950, and remains family-owned. The restaurant currently employs 94 people.
