While ‘ Ohana has not reopened since the pandemic shutdown, its neighbor, Tambu Lounge has. With ‘ Ohana still closed , Tambu Lounge has expand into ‘ Ohana’s seating area to make room for more guests. This section to the right of the bar has been open since Tambu Lounge reopened back in August.
And ‘ Ohana means FAMILY. ‘ Ohana has two dining experiences. Breakfast features characters with Lilo, Stitch, Pluto, and the Main Mouse himself. Dinner , on the other hand, is not a character meal , but still includes entertainment (which I’ll show you in this post).

‘Ohana character breakfast is a character dining experience and that means characters will walk around the dining area and come to your table. The characters include Lilo, Stitch , Pluto , & Mickey . You do not need to walk around to find the characters they come to you!
It’s an island cookout, the classic Hawaiian luau style that would otherwise include a pig roasting in the ground. Since you’re at an indoor restaurant, that’s not really possible, but the atmosphere is similar. People salivate the instant they smell the grill at ‘ Ohana , and that’s why it’s so popular .
Dinner . Breakfast is more or less just a standard character American breakfast with a few Hawaiian touches. Dinner is when the full capabilities of the restaurant are used (open fire grill) and a much broader and unique array of food is served.
‘Ohana is the wildly popular restaurant on the second floor of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort . The large room overlooks the Seven Seas Lagoon, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and a pool.
Dining at ‘ Ohana costs only one Disney Dining Plan table service credit per guest. As noted, you will not get in as a walk up. Also, because Disney requires a credit card guarantee with penalty if not cancelled by previous day, you can often find spots come open the day before you plan to dine. As mentioned already, keep trying. You can park free at the resort if you have a booked reservation.
